Every hero has a family...

Hello everybody,
I just signed in on Pokédox to start this story with my big bro Scriptor Scorpio.
He and I will write this story together, so every time I will post a chapter, then he will,
so you get faster updates.

Ok, let's begin...


Chapter 0: Introduction!

Meet the grand family Ink.
It's so large, and everyone sees each other so much, that nicknames couldn't be far off.
So, everyone is called by the first letter of their real first name and then just the family name 'Ink' behind it.

So, Darius Ink becomes Dink, and, Mona Ink becomes 'Mink'.
The two parents lived happily in their little hut with their four children: Zaria Ink, or Zink, the oldest daughter, then the younger son Theodore Ink, or Tink, Ronaldo Ink, or Rink, then the youngest one Leonardo Ink, or Link...

Although they were quads, they held much pride in the few minutes they were born before the other. The three boys were named after died relatives, which was a tradition in the Ink family, to not have to think new names over and over again.

Now, the three brothers embark on a little trip to the old Temple of Kindred Spirits...

Please comment on the story, so I can make Chapter one even better.

Your advice will be listened to. This is my first story and topic, so don't be too hard.

Ey, lil' bro!

It's my turn!

Chapter 1: Joink!

The following morning...

“Hammer?” Rink asked.

“Check!” Tink yelled.

“Bow and arrows?” Rink went on.

“Check!” Link answered.

“Ok. Spear?” Rink said.

“Che... Wait... What spear?” Link asked.

“My spear!” Rink exclaimed.

“Oh, you mean that wooden stick with a pointy rock on top?” Tink noted sarcastically.

“Why you...” Rink commenced.

“Older brother?” Tink asked sarcastically.

“Ah! It's not fair! Just because you were born 4 minutes before me...” Rink said.

“5 minutes, thank you,” Tink remarked.

“Grrr...” Rink grumbled.


In the mean while, Zink had a friendly conversation with her mom...

“Why can't I go?! I want to go!!!” Zink screamed.

“I told you...” her mom tried.

“Oh, it's because I'm a girl, isn't it, isn't it?!” Zink exclaimed.

“(sighs) Your brothers are just going to investigate the old temple down the forest path.”


After a grunt of frustration, Zink went to look for her (younger) brothers...


The three brothers had finished their preparations and were about to leave for the temple...

They had put on their favorite shirts and caps, blue for Tink, red for Rink and green for Link,
but for the rest they looked identical.

“Yes, I finally found you guys!” Zink began,

“Here’s the deal, you take me with you, without Mom finding out, and I don’t tell her about it.”

“You wouldn’t!” the boys said.

“Maybe, do you want to find out?”

(with evil laugh on her face)

“Grrr... Fine!” the boys said.


“So you think you can fool me, fool me?!”

Mink's voice echoed through the woods like a dark ghost, ehm... Mom!!!

“Run!” Zink yelled.

“Ay ay, sir, er something,” the boys said, and made a run for it.

Zink nearly succeeded, but her mom caught her neck and joinked her back down to earth...

“Aaaah...” Zink, defeated once again, replied.

“Now go do your chores!” her mom ordered,

“(looks at her sons running for their lives (it seems)) I hope they come back alive (sighs)”

...

After a while, the three boys noticed Zink hadn't got away, so they took a slower pace down the forest path...


Suddenly they heard something moving in the bushes! What could it be?!

Chapter 2: Temple of Kindred Spirits

Hero!

Scriptor Scorpio (SS): Sorry, I couldn't help myself... Now, to continue this epic story...

Gladiataurus (GT): Hey! It's my turn for the chapters! Get out of here!

SS: But I wanna go!

GT: (voice deepens) Wanna? This is... Sparta!

(throws SS down the endless pit)

SS: Stop throwing me in the endless piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit...

GT: Now that's taken care of... Begi...

(Falls on the hard ground)

SS: Muhaha... That clone of mine works! Thanks clone!

SS clone: And my jet pack!

Both SS's: Ow!

(Get thrown into the endless pit)

GT: My clone works as well!

GT clone: Beep beep beep!

GT: We need to work on that...

Begin!

...

Out of the bushes came...

Skippy, Skippy,

Skippy the bush kangaroo!

Do you know who's the biggest fan of president Bush?

Skippy, Skippy,

Skippy the Bush kangaroo!

After that Skippy hupped away...

“That was weird,” Rink remarked.

“Yep!” Link agreed.

Suddenly, something moved in the bushes...

Who's next? Flipper?!

But it wasn't Flipper who came out of the bushes...

“Oh no, a piggy thingy!” Tink noticed,

“that one can shoot bullets! Duck!”

In true Matrix style, the three quickly scared heroes jumped behind some trees...

“Rink, you distract him, then Link will shoot him down with his arrows!” Tink ordered.

“And what will you do?” Rink asked.

“Older brother?” Tink finished sarcastically.

“Grrr... Hey Pigster, over here!” Rink said.

“Now Link shoot him down!” Tink commanded.

Quickly Link wasted a lot of arrows on the little piggy, which soon exploded.

“Well done men,” Tink said as he leaped forward.

Between the ashes of the exploded piggy, Tink quickly picked something up.

What have you got there? A force gem?!” Rink asked.

“No,” Tink said,

“It's a rupee shaped like a force gem!”

“What?! A rupee? Give it to me! I worked hard for it!” Rink argued.

While the two were rolling over the ground, Link picked up the Rupee and put it in his pocket...

Then he asked his two brothers:

“I always wondered... Why would there be money in a piggy or a monster?”

The two others stepped up, and Tink said:

“I guess we'll never know... So, where is that Temple? Ah, right this way!” Tink said.

“Ehm... Tink, it's over this way...” Link pointed to the opposite way Tink was going.

“I knew that... I eh, was looking for more enemies to find!” Tink said confident and marched towards the temple...

After a while, they had reached a little temple, hidden behind hundreds of years of leaves.

When they had cut off all the leaves like madmans (well, Link and Rink did, because Tink was sunbathing through an open spot in the forest roof), they entered the Temple of Kindred Spirits...

Mm, I don't know too much about the TLoZ universe, but I read this anyways. I think this story will become more interesting when you guys reach the plot.

I honestly had a tough time distinguishing between the boys' personalities, but moments like these helped. Because they're almost identical in appearance, emphasizing personality dynamics really help with their characters.

Also, after a little bit of google searching, I got to learn about Skippy the Bush Kangaroo.

Hey thanks for the reply:)

We posted it here, but honestly gave up on it because of little to no interest in it by viewers, because of it being LoZ quite possibly.
But,
we'll see what we can do to continue it;)

Edit: Do you think it would be helpful to give a short descriptions of the three boys their personalities, or would that be a bit too obvious, and make it be gradually shown as the story progresses?

I think it'd be best to gradually show their personalities throughout the story. =P
